Call for Tutorials

Tutorials: All tutorials will be held on Sunday, May 18th, 2025. Each tutorial is approximately 3 hours long. Tutorial topics can range from emerging research areas to established techniques of practical and industrial relevance within the scope of the conference (electric machines, drives and their applications).


Tutorial topics can range from emerging research areas to established techniques of practical and industrial relevance within the scope of the conference (electric machines, drives and their applications).

 
Topics of interest may include, but are not limited to:
  • Potential topic areas include but are not limited to:

    • Rotating Electrical Machines
    • Electrical Drives
    • Special Machines, Electromagnetic Actuators and Sensors
    • Thermal, Materials and Efficiency Issues and Cutting-Edge Technologies
    • Artificial Intelligence based Design, Control or Condition Monitoring
    • Transportation Applications- High Power and High Torque Densities
    • Energy and Grid-Connected Applications- High-Performance and High-Efficiency

Proposal Submission and Review Process: All tutorial proposals should be submitted in pdf format via email to Tutorial Co-chairs: Taner Goktas ([email protected]) and Bilal Akin ([email protected]). Please follow the tutorial proposal application format on the website. The proposals will be reviewed by a panel of subject matter experts.
